San Diego’s Asian Food Haven

Convoy Street in Kearny Mesa has proven to be a food haven.   There was a time when the only good Korean/Thai/Vietnamese/Chinese food to be had was two hours away in Los Angeles.   (In high school, there was only one In-N-Out in San Diego County!)

Fortunately, things have changed.  There are two Asian supermarkets: 99 Ranch Market and Zion Market (Korean). Now several restaurants line this busy corridor with food options.

Convoy is not the only street with Asian food; however, it is one of the most concentrated collections of restaurants.  Below are some of the notable ones:
